...Did you ever....

Caught in between the swells,
I anxiously await
the first rat-a-tat of a nibble.
No other anchor dropped, just drifting;
the boat, and my thoughts.

...meet someone...

Tug, pull, reel,
bringing up the catch of the moment.
Drop the pyramid again,
feel it, and reel it,
again.

...and you felt....

Captain breaks my reverie;
another history lesson.
I listen, dreamily,
soaking in the sun, the sounds,
and his words.

....such a strong sense

With silly grins,
we discuss scuba diving,
gull droppings,
and concrete ships.
