As much as it pains me to say, this is a possibility, but there are several big ifs. He would have to play enough years there to get the all time HR mark, but most importantly the Yankees need to win some championships in that time. Neither is a given, but I would expect them to win sometime in the next decade. Even with that, Ruth hit about 650 HR's as a Yankee. It is very doubtful that ARod will reach 500 for them.
It would be ironic if they nick-named the place after the first home run and it was done by some second rate hitter like Jose Molina.
